Now I get to be the one making those memories as I have two little grandbabies and another on the way. Bella(2-1/2 yrs) can't wait to come for Grandma's Special Day! Our grandchildren need us so much at this time with everything they deal with in the world around them. Thanks for sharing the importance of being with your grandchildren.Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07197368073879030441noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1197705946613221648.post-36449741906992976292008-06-19T13:03:00.000-07:002008-06-19T13:03:00.000-07:00I agree Sally. Kenz and I have a place we go to everytime we take a walk around the block where she lives. There is a bubbling water fountain and a concrete bench, where I sit while she perfoms. She comes from behind the fountain and makes up songs. She pretends she is on onstage, has some unbelieveable stage names ( Leena Smagoldie), ones she makes up. She pretends she knows me. "Aren't you Connie?" she asks.<BR/>I can't describe some of the harlarious, wonderful twist and turns her little mind comes up with. It's the fun that happens at the fountain that neither one of us will ever forget.Nana Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04847277796248616365noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1197705946613221648.post-87413853860699762022008-06-16T09:53:00.000-07:002008-06-16T09:53:00.000-07:00This is one great suggestion guide which not only ...This is one great suggestion guide which not only helps understand and relate lovingly with your grandchildren (or nieces or nephews, etc), but will strengthen the lifelong bond between you. That bond will leave an indelible impression, understanding, and appreciation. I know that my grandparents' involvement in my life has had that impact on me which I dearly cherish. From "Super Grannies" I now have a greater understanding of how they did that and some helpful guidance on how I can have a like relationship with my grandkids that they will likewise cherish.
